Stephanie Krieger,
Founder of Nani Moon Meadery
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Receiving her undergraduate degree in Marine Science, Biology and Chemistry from University of Miami, Florida, she recognized the importance of resource conservation and it’s effects on both land, freshwater and marine environments. Stephanie worked with the National Tropical Botanical Garden for 12 years as a docent, educator and contractual marine researcher.
Stephanie started making mead in her Kapahi garage in 2000. During eight years of research and development, she worked with industry leaders in the local food and beverage community learning about wine appreciation. Combining her love of the flavor profiles of some of the world’s most unique wines, with her passion for supporting Hawaii’s diverse agricultural community, Stephanie created the Nani Moon Mead Collection. She is assisted by a dedicated group of Queen Bees, Drones, and most importantly, her Chief Executive Bear, Hunter.
